The German federal election will be held on February 23, 2025! An alliance comprising Saxony’s universities and student services organizations, the Conference of Saxon Student Unions, and the Leipzig Science Network e. V. is now calling on everyone to exercise their right to vote.
The goal of the #GehWählen campaign is to encourage younger people to vote and thus to participate in the democratic process. In recent years, voter turnout among people under the age of 30 has been particularly low compared to that of people over 60.
