At the University of Leipzig’s 2026 University Ball, the Leipzig Science Network was represented for the first time with its own table. Together with representatives from our member institutions and their guests, we were able to take part in this special evening and raise the network’s profile in a festive setting.The University Ball offered numerous opportunities for personal encounters and inspiring conversations across institutional boundaries. We are very pleased with the positive feedback and the successful exchange at our table. Our first participation has shown just how valuable such social events can be for networking within Leipzig’s scientific community. We would like to thank all guests for their participation and look forward to continuing the exchange within our network.
